Donna Sandford

Clinical Psychologist.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who specializes in psychoeducational assessments. I have always felt passion for the field of psychology, and I have enjoyed over 15 years of experience.

I have worked in a variety of settings, including schools, community mental health centers, and residential treatment centers. My clinical expertise includes testing, clinical management, individual and family therapy, group therapy, crisis intervention, staff training, parenting education, and program development.

My approach to testing is comprehensive, individualized, and strengths-based. I not only work to discover specific areas for intervention and support, but also one’s positive abilities, overall learning profile, and how one’s mind “works.” My hope is to help empower others through understanding their capabilities and how to best support any challenges.

I provide a warm and friendly approach, and I aim to help you or your child feel comfortable and engaged with the assessment process. Playfulness and flexibility are incorporated during our time together, with opportunities for breaks and games.

I honor diversity and inclusivity, with respect and consideration of one’s cultural factors.

I live in Ventura County with my husband and three sons. My favorite activities include walking my dogs, exploring botanical gardens, and discovering local events with my family.
